Research Collaboration
: Foster interdisciplinary research collaborations between faculty members and researchers from the University of Illinois System and partner institutions in Brazil. Encourage joint research projects, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of resources to address pressing global challenges in areas such as climate change, public health, sustainable development, and social inclusion.
Student and Faculty Mobility Programs
: Develop student exchange programs and faculty fellowships to facilitate academic mobility between the University of Illinois System and Brazilian universities. Provide opportunities for students and faculty members to engage in immersive learning experiences, collaborative research projects, and cultural exchange activities to broaden their perspectives and enhance their academic and professional development.
Capacity Building
: Support capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening research infrastructure, enhancing academic programs, and fostering institutional partnerships in Brazil.
