Sanders, an award-winning educator and researcher who heads nationally ranked engineering programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has been named interim director of the Discovery Partners Institute (DPI), a new world-class innovation center led by the U of I System, President Tim Killeen announced today.
