The University of Illinois System is conducting a national search for the next chancellor of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, who will also serve as vice president of the University of Illinois System. The ideal candidates will possess exceptional academic leadership experience and a strong understanding of the evolving higher education landscape.

Additionally, the chancellor will also serve as a vice president of the U of I System, contributing to its broader mission and overall strategic direction.
