Equipping a Future Forward Workforce

The University of Illinois System is Illinois’ most powerful talent pipeline, with over 457,000 alumni in-state driving growth in healthcare, engineering, education, and beyond. Educating more than half of all public university students in Illinois, the system ensures a highly skilled, competitive workforce—70% of graduates choose to stay in Illinois.

Through initiatives like the Discovery Partners Institute, we’re expanding opportunities in the tech sector with a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline that reflects Chicago and Illinois. The Pritzker Tech Talent Lab is preparing the next generation of tech leaders—starting as early as elementary school and supporting career changers looking to break into the industry.
