Athletics

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign competes in NCAA Division I sports and is a charter member of the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA. Fighting Illini teams have won 18 NCAA Championships, five football national championships, advanced to five NCAA Men's Basketball Final Fours, and won 248 Big Ten titles overall, the second-most in conference history.
